Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026. StackSiren (formerly StackCheck) is a product of StackBySolo.
Permission to scan
Only scan websites you own or are authorised to test. By starting a scan you confirm you have that permission. Don't use StackSiren to scan third-party sites without consent.
What the service does
StackSiren performs passive checks: a small number of standard HTTP GET requests for publicly served content (home page, same-origin JavaScript, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, /.env, /.git/config). It doesn't log in, brute force, fuzz or attempt exploits. Requests to private or internal addresses are refused. We may rate-limit or block abusive use.
No guarantee
Results are automated and may include false positives or miss issues. A good score does not mean a site is secure. StackSiren is not a penetration test or a substitute for professional security review. The service is provided "as is", and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from its use or from acting on its results.
Payments, credits and plans
Payments are processed by Stripe. Single reports and 10-report packs are one-time purchases; pack credits don't expire while the service operates. Solo and Builder plans renew monthly until cancelled, which you can do at any time from the customer portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us and we'll put it right, including refunds where appropriate. Your statutory rights are not affected.
