StackSiren for v0
Security check for v0 apps
v0 by Vercel generates React and Next.js UI and apps that deploy to Vercel. Apps usually run on a vercel.app subdomain or a custom domain on Vercel.
Common issues to check before launch
- Secrets exposed through NEXT_PUBLIC_ environment variables
- No Content-Security-Policy or other security headers configured
- Pages that render only on the client, which can hurt SEO
Practical fixes
- Only prefix variables with NEXT_PUBLIC_ if they are safe to publish
- Add security headers in next.config headers()
- Prefer server components or static rendering for public pages
What StackSiren does
Paste your v0 app's public URL. StackSiren makes a few normal GET requests and checks for exposed keys, Supabase/Firebase config, security headers, HTTPS, exposed files and SEO basics. The full report includes fix prompts you can paste into v0 or any AI coding tool.
These are common patterns, not claims about every v0 app. Many apps have none of these issues.
