StackSiren for Lovable
Security check for Lovable apps
Lovable generates React front-ends from prompts and commonly pairs them with Supabase for the database, auth and storage. Apps are published on a lovable.app subdomain or your own domain.
Common issues to check before launch
- Supabase tables created without Row Level Security policies, so the public anon key can read or write them
- Third-party API keys (for example OpenAI) called directly from browser code instead of an Edge Function
- Missing security headers and SEO basics such as meta description, sitemap and Open Graph tags
Practical fixes
- Enable RLS on every table in the Supabase dashboard and add policies before launch
- Move paid-API calls into Supabase Edge Functions and keep keys in function secrets
- Ask Lovable to add a meta description, Open Graph tags, robots.txt and sitemap.xml
What StackSiren does
Paste your Lovable app's public URL. StackSiren makes a few normal GET requests and checks for exposed keys, Supabase/Firebase config, security headers, HTTPS, exposed files and SEO basics. The full report includes fix prompts you can paste into Lovable or any AI coding tool.
These are common patterns, not claims about every Lovable app. Many apps have none of these issues.
